Altair Activate version 2019.1 includes the following new features and enhancements.

- Webhosted Help
- Online Help, hosted by Altair, links you to the most recent help topics, tutorials and product information. Altair Activate also includes an installed version of the Help.
- Text Editing for Modelica and Spice
- The text editor includes language modes for Modelica and Spice languages (with syntax highlighting).
- Modelica Code Display
- New functionality has been added to display and export Modelica Code that is generated for a model.
- New Blocks in the Activate Palette
- A Trapezoid block has been added to the Signal Generators directory.
Enhancements
- Nested FMUs*
- FMU generation is enhanced to support the nesting of FMUs. The nesting capability enables the exporting of FMUs for models containing Modelica blocks.
- Command Window
- The pagination and display in the command window is improved with the addition of text color and upward and downward navigation.
- Modelica Blocks
- Additional blocks are supported.
- Modelica Connectors
- Expandable Connectors are supported.
- Modelica Records
- Handling of records is improved.
