The ribbon allows you to quickly access tools and standard functions, and is located along the top of HyperWorks X. Click on an icon to open the related tool. Hovering over a group of icons may reveal additional tools.
The Model Browser displays and organizes all of the objects in your model in a tree structure, and enables access to objects that
are not currently shown in the modeling window.
Microdialogs are miniature dialogs that allow you to interact directly with selected objects in the modeling window.
The primary function of a microdialog is to allow you to enter and accept values in numeric fields.
Several tools require you to define a plane or a vector direction to perform a certain function, such as dragging
geometry along a vector, spinning it about an axis, or splitting it with a plane. Using the Vector tool, both planes and vectors can be defined as needed.
Perform automatic checks on CAD models, and identify potential issues with geometry that may slow down the meshing
process using the Verification and Comparison tools.
