Configure the Element Quality View and 2D Element Criteria

Customize the appearance of the Element Quality view, select the criteria that appears in the Criteria legend, and edit the current 2D element criteria.

  • Edit the current 2D element criteria in the Criteria File Editor, which can be accessed by right-clicking on the legend and selecting Edit Criteria from the context menu.
Note: Any changes that you make in the Element Quality View will impact all of the other Element Quality View settings. The changes that you make to the threshold values in the Element Quality View will not affect the values in the criteria file, but any changes that you make to the criteria file will affect the Element Quality view.
  • Change the color assigned to each element quality category and criteria.
    • In the QI Range and Criteria legends, click on the color next to each element quality category and criteria and select a new color.
    • In the Element Quality View Configuration dialog, accessed by right-clicking on the legend and selecting Configure Quality View from the context menu, click on a criteria's corresponding color and select a new color.
Respective elements will be highlighted as per the new color scheme.
  • Select 2D element criteria to display in the Criteria legend using the Element Quality View Configuration dialog, accessed by right-clicking on the legend and selecting Configure Quality View from the context menu.
Tip: If you change the order of the element criteria after you have adjusted the threshold values in the Criteria legend, the threshold values will reset to their fail values. It is best to change the order of the element criteria first, and then change the threshold values in the Criteria legend.
