Table 1.
Component Unit Comment
1 (X): Roll Angle deg The suspension roll angle and is defined as the arctan of the difference in wheel center displacements divided by the difference in wheel center y coordinates or:

atan((rdisp-ldisp)/abs(rwcy-lwcy)

The sign is positive when the right wheel is in jounce and the left wheel is in rebound as in a left turn.

2 (Y): Tread Width mm The distance between the left and right tire patch points.
3 (Z): Tread Change mm/m The change in tread width due to a change in wheel displacement and is defined:
Orientation A:
(C(8,3)+C(8,9)-C(2,3)-C(2,9)+slr*(C(10,3)+C(10,9)-C(4,3)-C(4,9)))*2000/(C(3,3)+C(3,9)+C(9,3)+C(9,9))
Orientation B:
(-C(8,3)-C(8,9)+C(2,3)+C(2,9)+slr*(-C(10,3)-C(10,9)+C(4,3)+C(4,9)))*2000/(C(3,3)+C(3,9)+C(9,3)+C(9,9))
4 (RX): Track Width mm The difference in wheel center y coordinates.
