Perform Batch Repair

Use the Batch tool to perform automatic cleanup operations on selected surfaces.

  1. From the Geometry ribbon, Cleanup tools, click Defeature > Batch.

  2. On the guide bar, click to define batch repair options.
  3. Select source geometry to cleanup.
  4. On the guide bar, click Batch Repair.
Tip:
  • On the guide bar, click to open the Advanced Selection dialog, from which you can filter geometry further by selecting a subset of entities based on additional selection methods, such as By Component or By Assembly.
  • Click on the guide bar to reset all of the selected surfaces.

Batch Options

Target element size
The target element size for the mesh.
Stitch edges within tolerance
The tolerance used to stitch surface edges.
Allow T-connections
Allow T-connections (non-manifold edges) to be created during the stitching process.
Suppress construction edges
Suppress unnecessary geometry construction edges.
Delete duplicate surfaces
Find and delete duplicate surfaces.
Fix overlapping surfaces
Fix overlapping surfaces based on an automatically calculated tangency angle.
Remove edge fillets
Square off any fillets/rounded edges located on free edges and having radii below the specified value.
Remove if radius <
Edge fillet radius.
