The layer filter reduces the layer list available in the Contour, Iso, Vector, and Tensor panels for the data types that
have layers (for example, plies in composite stress/stains or any tensor result with layers).
After a contour plot has been applied in the Contour panel, the Cache feature will become active and allow you to add
the currently active contour result to an internal cache.
After a contour plot has been applied in the Contour panel, the Cache feature will become active and allow you to add
the currently active contour result to an internal cache.
Only the currently active contoured result may be added to the internal
cache.
Create an internal cache of the active contour result using one of the
following methods.
From the Contour panel panel, click
Cache.
Right-click in the graphics area, or the browser white space, and select Create > Cached Result > Contour from the context menu.
Note: Whenever a result is cached, it is computed for each frame the first time
a frame is loaded, thereby making the time taken for the first time load
greater. The times for all subsequent loads will be significantly
reduced.
