Select Output Responses

Assign the responses as objectives and constraints.

1. Go to the Select Output Responses step for the Optimization.
2. In the work area, Active column, select the checkboxes for the output responses to include in the Optimization.
   By default all of the output responses that you defined in the study Setup are active.
3. Apply objectives to the active output responses.
   1. In the Objectives column, click .
      A pop-up dialog opens.
   2. Select a Type and edit the Target Value, Weighted Sum, and Reference Value accordingly.
   3. Click OK.
4. Apply constraints to the active output responses.
   1. In the Constraints column, click .
      A pop-up dialog opens.
   2. Select a Type and Bound Type, and edit the Bound Value and CFD Limit accordingly.
   3. Click OK.
5. In the Evaluate From field, select an evaluation source.
   • Select Expression to use the default entry of the solver.
   • Select a previously defined Fit.
6. Click Apply.
