To attaching a note to coordinates.

From the Notes panel, select a note in the Notes list.

Under Attach to, select Coordinates.

Enter the X coordinate in the X coordinate text
box.

Enter the Y coordinate in the Y coordinate text
box.

Enter the Z coordinate in the Z coordinate text
box.
A line is drawn from the note to the selected coordinates.
