1. | From the Menu Bar, select Mesh Editing > Part > Sheet. |

If the Mesh Editing panel is already open, select Part > Sheet from the pull-down menu in the panel.
2. | Choose the Offset radio button. |
3. | Click and pick a part in the graphic window. When finished, answer the question in the pop-up dialog window with Yes or Cancel. |

to select the part selected in the tree.
4. | By default, HyperCrash corrects all the element normals and takes them as the offset direction: the normal to element(s) toggle is selected. |

• | Click defined by vector to impose another offset direction; then: |
o | Click and in the graphic window, and pick two nodes to define the offset direction. |

o | Click and in the graphic window, and pick an element. The offset direction will be the picked element normal. |
5. | By default, the Offset value is equal to half the part thickness (this is useful for moving the elements to the neutral fiber). |

• | Set a value in the Offset field and click Ok. |
• | Click to invert the offset side. |
6. | Click Save to save the part offset. |

Click Cancel to cancel the part offset.
7. | Click Close to close the menu. |
