Edit Criteria and Parameter Files

Set the appropriate parameters/options to obtain the desired mesh from Batchmesher by editing the criteria and parameter files.

Use the Criteria and Parameters Editor to create and modify mesh criteria files as well as geometry cleanup parameter files.

  1. From the Mesh ribbon, Controls tools, click either the Param or the Criteria tool.

  2. In the Criteria/Parameters File Editor, edit criteria and parameters.
    • Use the Criteria window to setup the quality index (QI) mesh criteria.
    • Use the Parameters window to setup geometry cleanup and defeaturing parameters.
  3. Click Apply to save your changes and continue editing or click OK to save your changes and close the window.
Tip: Click in the top-left of the dialog to save and open parameter/criteria files.
