Open Models

Open an existing model.

  1. From the Home tools, Files tool group, click the Open Model tool.

  2. In the Open File dialog, navigate to your working directory and select the file to open.
The current file is cleared from the memory, and the file you selected opens.

HyperWorks X loads model files and solver input files with the solver interface they were saved in.

Tip: Quickly open an .hm file by dragging-and-dropping it into the modeling window.
