poI3DViewCtrl SetCropping

Sets the number of pixels cropped from each side of the image plane associated with the view.

Syntax

poI3DViewCtrl_handle SetCroppingvalues name

Application

HyperView Tcl Modify

Description

Set the number of pixels pre-cropped from each corresponding side of the image plane.

Inputs

values
A string consisting of top, bottom, left, and right values (in the format of “top bottom left right”). Captured videos/images are often processed before using them for video overlaying, one typical process is cropping the borders of a video/image. If such an operation has been taken, cropping information has to be provided before video overlaying. Otherwise, input sensor height and input principal point offset (also known as focal point offset) will not match the current status of the input video/image (that is, video overlaying will not provide correct results).
name
String specifying the name of the view to be modified. The current view will be modified if a name is not specified.

Example

To set the cropping of a view named "View 1" to 100 left and 224 top:
hwi OpenStack
hwi GetSessionHandle session_handle
session_handle GetProjectHandle project_handle
project_handle GetPageHandle page_handle [project_handle GetActivePage]
page_handle GetWindowHandle window_handle [page_handle GetActiveWindow]
window_handle GetViewControlHandle view_handle
view_handle SetCropping “224 0 100 0” “View 1”
hwi CloseStack

Error

Returns HW_InvalidHandle if the view handle is invalid.

Returns HW_InvalidArgs if the values are invalid or if a named view does not exist.
