General

Enhancements

Session browser with Entity Editor
The new Session browser has an Entity Editor section to modify page and window properties. This will allow you to manage large sessions more efficiently by editing multiple entities simultaneously.
Filter entities in the Session browser
You can now use Boolean operations and wildcards in the find/filter fields, and you can quickly create search keywords and filter values using the 'Add as Filter' context menu option in the Entity Editor.
Filtering on properties from different entity types is now possible, for example filtering for all HyperView clients on pages with a specific string in the page title.
Modify panel enhancements
Work with large files (> 200000 points).
Enable vertical cross bar visibility across multiple windows.

Resolved Issues

  • Application error encountered during manual report overlay.
  • The Multifile Selection dialog does not read OptiStruct .out files.
  • Erroneous reading of Keyword Mode as Mode 0 in the Campbell plot tool.
  • Campbell plot diagram with .out file from direct complex eigenvalue analysis not supported.
  • Clicking the Curve selector multiple times results in an application error.

Solver Interfaces

PAM-CRASH 2G Interface

New Features

Support of Modular ERF (HDF5)
PAM-CRASH ERF reader supports ERF (HDF5) results that use modular input definition. Entity pools for nodes, elements and parts are available to handle duplicate IDs shared across different modules in the same model. These entities will be represented by their module IDs along with their parent entity module IDs.

Enhancements

Position data type
Position data type from PAM-CRASH DSY result file is supported.
PAM-CRASH ERF (*.erfh5) reader option
The PAM-CRASH ERF (*.erfh5) read option is added to File type filter.
ID management
Entity IDs for CNTAC, SENSOR and SECFO keywords are maintained upon reading PAM-CRASH ERF (HDF5) result files.

AcuSolve Interface

New Features

Support of AcuSolve (*.Log files)
The AcuSolve reader supports .Log file input. Solution convergence can be plotted via Residual Ratio and Solution Ratio and integrated surface and element output can be plotted based on data written to the results directory. The results directory is currently required to be present for plotting AcuSolve data in HyperGraph.
