• | From the Menu Bar, select Mesh Editing > Node > Modify. |

• | If the Mesh Editing panel is already open, select Node > Modify from the pull-down menu in the panel. |
1. | Select the Merge single radio button. |
2. | Click ![]() |
3. | In the graphic window, click the first node, and then click the second node. |
The first node will move and will merge with the second one. The second node does not move.
4. | Click Save to merge the nodes; or |
To cancel node merging, click Cancel.
5. | Click Close to close the menu. |

6. | In the gap search to merge field, enter the tolerance to search the possible nodes to merge. |

The nodes of the first set will move and will be merged with the nodes of the second set. The nodes of the second set do not move.
8. | Click Save to merge the nodes; or |
Click Cancel to cancel node merging.
9. | Click Close to close the menu. |
